Sometimes I wonder why we cling to it.
Each person is special and unique but we have made life all about fitting in, all about conforming.
Each day is a new opportunity but we follow the same boring routines.
I suppose we cling to life in the hope of what it could be, what it should be.
It is when we run out of hope that life doesn’t seem worth it.
And yet hope can be so painful, so agonizing that if it is based on a lie, if it is false it can wound terribly.
Thank God I have faith.
“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”
With faith in God our hope is not in vain.
